• Ammon Cunningham Likes the View of Canyonlands National Park

  • As a productive blogger and passionate traveler, Ammon Cunningham loves Utah. He loves it not just because it is his home state, but also because Utah is chock full of amazing destinations that should appeal to travelers all over the world. For example, he loves to tell people about Canyonlands National Park, a great destination in the southeast corner of Utah that many refer to as Utah's Grand Canyon.

    One reason they call it that is because the views can be just as incredible. From the amazing vistas overlooking the canyons below or the beautiful snowcapped mountain views, there are certainly valid reasons why Canyonlands sees more than 600,000 visitors every year. Besides the scenery in the main section of the park, there are many other places to see, some of which are more remote but worth the hike. Fore example, seeing Mesa Arch at sunrise is spectacular. Also, there is White Rim Road, a winding dirt road along sheer cliffs, featuring dramatic drops into the valley below.
